Calvin Kelekolio Long Distance Race

Keoua Honaunau Canoe Club invites your participation in the 31st annual Calvin Kelekolio Long Distance Race on Saturday, August 19, 2017. The course will be to the north from Honaunau toward Kealakekua Bay. We will host our traditional post-race Keoua-style Pa’ina and awards ceremony for all race participants.

Entry Fee: Mixed Juniors $60 per crew, Adults $120 per crew.

Juniors 12-15
2 Miles: Honaunau – Moinui Point – Honaunau

Women and Mixed
8 Miles: Honaunau – Kealakekua Bay – Honaunau

Men
10 Miles: Honaunau – Kealakekua Bay – Keawekaheka Point – Honaunau

Men, following Women/Mixed/Junior Race (~10:30 a.m.)

Awards

Individual medals to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place crews.

Fee

Each club please collect from its own members and pay fees with one club check.
$120.00 per crew IF PAID WITH A CLUB CHECK 
$150.00 per crew IF PAID WITH CASH, NO PERSONAL CHECKS
Junior crews are FREE

Attention Coaches and Canoe Trailer Drivers

TRAILERS: After unloading canoes in Honaunau church lot, please park trailers and trucks on the highway. Lot open on Friday and Saturday.
NATIONAL PARK: Canoes are NOT to be beached on National Park Grounds. If you wish to park passenger vehicles in the National Park lot, regular park user fees will apply.
