Keoua Honaunau Canoe Club begins the 2019 practice season on Monday, March 4th @ 4:45 PM at Honaunau Bay. We welcome novice & returning paddlers of all ages, shapes, and sizes! Dues for adults are $60 for the year if paid electronically, and $75 if paid in CASH, keiki ages 10-18 are $30 and our menehune (8- 10yrs old) only pay $15 dues, and all kamali’i get a club t-shirt, insurance and HCRA cards to make them eligible to race in regattas.
Our purpose is to perpetuate the ancient art and culture of Hawaiian outrigger canoe paddling as traditionally practiced at beautiful Honaunau Bay, next to Pu‘uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park. We welcome new and experienced paddlers of any age to join us on some of the most pristine, splendid and sacred waters in all of Hawaii.
How to Join
- Returning members: fill out the registration form below and an HCRA waiver.
- New members: registration form, HCRA waiver, and age verification (birth certificate, drivers license, etc)
Members are expected to know and exhibit proper canoe etiquette.

ALL PADDLERS must fill out a 2019 HCRA WAIVER!
Men: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 4:45PM
Women: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 4:45PM
Juniors (ages 11-18): Monday and Thursday, 3:30pm; Wednesdays 2:45pm
Menehunes (ages 8-10): Monday and Thursday, 3:45pm
Practice begins on Monday, February 25th, 2019. to prepare for regatta season, which opens approximately the first week of May. Practice paddles are available for children as well as adults.

Are you storing your OC-1, OC-2, or V1 at the canoe club, or you would like to? Fill out the boat rack payment form and complete your payment at PayPal. The cost is only $60/year (if paid HERE) for canoe club members only (and $75.00 if paid in CASH).
