Our 27th Annual Calvin Kelekolio Long Distance Race will be held Saturday August 17. Join us for a day of paddling and camaraderie as we honor Calvin Kelekolio’s legacy, and celebrate the blessings bestowed on us by all those who’ve come before us.
The women’s course will be from Honaunau to Kealakekua Bay and back, while the men will go to Kealakekua Bay then north to Keawekaheka Point before returning to Honaunau Bay.
At 7:30 a.m., before the race, Leinani Navas-Loa will lead us in ‘Aha Ho‘omana, a special ceremony of love, respect and gratitude for Calvin Kelekolio and his family.
So mark it on your calendar and come down and share good times, good food, memories, and each others’ company. See you there!
