About Keoua Canoe Club

Keoua Honaunau Canoe Club is a medium-sized club with about 150 active members. Located in South Kona at Honaunau Bay, next to Pu'uhonua o Honaunau, we welcome new paddlers of any age to join us. We are honored to paddle in some of the most pristine, splendid and hallowed waters in all of Hawaii.

Our fleet of canoes includes practice boats, racers, and two custom-built koa boats, Honaunau, our first Tahitian-style koa, and Ka'ahumanu, a Hawaiian-style koa legal for state races and the seasoned veteran of many a Moloka'i crossing. Many club members also participate in the one-man season and store their boats at our halau.

Dues are $60 per year for adult membership and $30 per child. OC-1 storage dues are $60. Dues must be paid in full before the member can race or store canoes. Racks are assigned.
